Track Data DECLARES ITS FIRST CASH DIVIDEND

 

Brooklyn, New York – August 25, 2003 – Track Data Corporation today announced that its Board of Directors declared its first cash dividend of $.01 per common share payable September 22, 2003 to holders of record on September 8, 2003. The Board expects to consider future dividends semi-annually, based on such factors as the Company’s earnings, financial condition, cash requirements, future prospects and other factors.

Barry Hertz, Chairman and CEO, said, "With the recent changes in Federal tax law that allows for shareholders to retain a greater portion of dividends, after taxes, we believe that payment of this dividend is in the best interest of our shareholders."
